Hi and welcome to my page, I am so thankful you have stopped by! My name is Dani and I am the face behind 'The Self-Loving Mama', A place to find support, encouragement, empowerment and to share and connect through our experiences of our journey through motherhood.

But first, let me share with you a little bit about myself and how this page came into fruition. I am 32 years old, born and raised in Brisbane, Australia where I currently reside with my beautiful little family - My Husband Glenn, our one-year-old son, Maverick (who is the light of our life) and our fur-baby Cali.

Before becoming a Mum, I would have described myself as a social butterfly, a fitness fanatic and a positively adventurous soul, however, my life (post-baby) is very different and for a while there, I had lost myself. I have been through quite a journey of self-discovery and self-love over the past 12 months and at times have felt very alone. There are so many Mummy bloggers out there and platforms for women but to me they all seemed to slip into the whole 'parenting phase of life' so easily and truly encompass what it is to be a mother and a woman. For me, however, I felt as though my whole life had changed. Even though I was absolutely loving being a Mama, I felt like I'd lost my identity and really didn't know where to turn or how to reconnect with myself. If this resonates with you, then welcome, welcome, welcome! This page/blog/community is for you and it is my absolute hearts desire to help other mama's to work through theses changes both physically and mentally and learn to wholeheartedly love ourselves again.

I cant wait to share my journey and experiences with you!

Feel free to find me on Instagram and Pinterest or contact me at anytime via email, I would love to connect with you.
